Prorektori për Kërkimin
The University of Marin Barleti is a new model Albanian institution of higher
education. It is dedicated to equipping its graduates to succeed in the hybrid circumstances and complex
environment of contemporary European society. Its educational vision combines the classical, liberal tradition's
commitment to a love of learning and thirst for knowledge with the pragmatic desire to apply and share that knowledge
effectively with others for the benefit of the greater good. Its programmes, therefore, seek to be both
intellectually stimulating and relevant to the context of international professionals and corporate agents.
Its research agenda is strategically complementary and will be realised in partnership with other institutions who
share similar interests and goals.

Universiteti "Marin Barleti" dhe Instituti i Kërkimit dhe Zhvillimit "Barleti" (IKZHB) përvecse institucione akademike, janë edhe institucione kërkimore-shkencore të cilët synojnë të jenë qendra të ekselencës për kërkimet ndërdisiplinore në fushat që lidhen me proceset sociale, ekonomike dhe të mjedisit. 
Kërkimi akademik ka si qëllim prodhimin dhe organizimin e dijes, zhvillimin e teorive të reja dhe promovimin e forcimin e veprimtarive kërkimore në shërbim të mjedisit akademik, të bazuara në metodologji të reja e të mirëfillta shkencore; 
Në mjediset e UMB gjendet gjithashtu një librari, e cila përmban libra akademikë dhe artistikë, shërbim printimi dhe fotokopjeje, si dhe shërbime të tjera kancelarie. Në kohën që jeni student i UMB, ju keni të gjitha mundësitë, që të shpenzoni pjesën më të madhe të kohës tuaj të studimit në ambientet e Bibliotekës së Universitetit.
